FILM REVIEWS

My teacher said that I have to do a project about a film. The last film that I have watched in the cinema was called "Marte" and I love it. I have thought to present you this film.

Marte is an American film directed by Ridley Scott and written by Drew Goddard.
The main protagonist is Mark Watney (Matt Damon). His career began with the film "Good Will Hunting" in 1997, from a script written with his friend Ben Affleck. He won the Prize Oscar for best original screenplay with the "Good will hunting" fim and nominated the best actor. Damon has participated in commercially successful films like "Saving private ryan" or giving live to Jason Bourne.
The protagonists are Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Michael Peña, Kate Mara, Sean Bean, Sebastian Stan, Aksel Hennie, Donald Glover, Mackenzie Davis y Chiwetel Ejiofor. The genre of this film is science fiction and it is based on the novel of Andy Weir published in 2011 Martian.

Marte is a film that elapses during a mission to Mars and a strong storm breaks out the craft. The other astronauts think that Mark Watney is missing and dead and his companions make the decision to go, but he survived. He is alone and with little resources on the planet. With very few means, he should use his knowledge, his sense of humor and a great instinct for survival and communicate to Earth that he is alive waiting come to their rescue.

I liked this film because it is a funny and exciting film. The part that I liked more was when Mark connected with the Earth and when all the astronauts got happy.

If you are interested on seen the fiml, here I leave the trailer, I hope you like it:

ZENBAT MIN- KEN ZAZPI

Hi people!! In this project I have chosen a song in Basque and I have subtitled it to English with a program called Dotsub. The name of the group is Ken Zazpi and the song is "zenbat min"(how much pain). I have done this job to let english people know what this song means and because my school (Laskorain ikastola) is involved in a project with flemish and sardinian schools. The goals of this project are to improve digital skills and English, to promote the use of minority languages and to know other countries. I will leave here the song and I hope you enjoy it.

SAY NO TO VIOLENCE

I have done this project to let people know what is happening in the world with the people that suffer violence against women. It has been a new project for me because I had never worked with lucidpress. I hope you like it and that it results interesting to you.

GEORGE FITZGERALD SMOOT

Hi people!! Now I am going to write an article about George Smoot. He won the Nobel Price in Physics of the year 2006 with John C. Mather. I have chosen this man because he has a very interesting live and because with his work he helped further the Big Bang theory of the universe using the Cosmic Background Explorer (COBE) satellite.

George Fitzgerald Smoot was born in February 20th of 1945 and he is an American astrophysicist, cosmologist, Nobel laureate, and one of two contestants to win the US$1 million prize on Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2006 for his work on the Cosmic Background Explorer with John C. Mather that led to the "discovery of the black body form and anisotropy of the cosmic microwave background radiation," making Smoot the only Nobel laureate born in Florida.

This work helped further the Big Bang theory of the universe

using the Cosmic Background Explorer (COBE) satellite. According to the Nobel Prize committee, "the COBE project can also be regarded as the starting point for cosmology as a precision science." Smoot donated his share of the Nobel Prize money, less travel costs, to a charitable foundation.

Currently Smoot is a professor of physics at the University of

California, Berkeley, senior scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and since 2010, a professor of physics at the Paris Diderot University, France. In 2003, he was awarded the Einstein Medal and the Oersted Medal in 2009.

SOCIAL WEBSITES

Hello everybody!! I am going to write about the social websites, like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter... The advantages an disadvantages they have. It is a good websites to connect with your friends, speak with people and to make new friends. But it also has more advantages:

• You can find any people that have Instagram, Facebook, Twitter…
• You can see other people's photos, comments, followers…
• You can communicate with friends from different places.
• It is free

But social websites also have a lot of disadvantages:

• They can do anything with my photos.
• People can use these webs to outwit you.
• You can spend too much time in your computer.
• You need an Internet connection.

In this websites, we have a lot of friends, but are all those friends your traditional friends or your websites friends? A social sites friend is a person who is interest to view your photos, comments, followers…And a traditional friend is someone that helps you in bad moments, who makes you laugh, who tells you her secrets...

Speaking about privacy, I think that it is very important to have your websites in privacity form because in that way you can accept or not the people you want. In these websites they don't ask you a lot of information. Only putting your main information is enough.

As a suggestion, I propose to make the websites with more security than now, to dodge the bullying and not to save photos or comments of other people.
